It's been a while since I've fired up the newsletter and obviously part of the reason is because of my coverage at Sportsnet so hopefully you have been enjoying it there.

I've been getting a lot of questions this week about the Argos chances against the Bombers and how I think the game was going to go.

The Argos find themselves in a position that's awfully familiar to them. For as long as I can remember, Toronto had gone into their Grey Cup appearances as the underdog and this game won't be any different.

Speaking to players like Royce Metchie, they know the position they're in but won't complain considering they have a chance to win another championship.

Catching up with Argos fans this week, the sentiment I got was that this fan base doesn't care if Toronto is the favourite. They also don't care that they'll be outnumbered in the stands.

As much as people want to count out the Argos, it's also tough to go against a team that has won the last seven Grey Cup games they've played in.

In order for Toronto to win this game, in my opinion, they'll need to avoid falling behind. They cannot allow Winnipeg to build a lead and confidence.

They'll also need to find contributions from unlikely sources like a Kevin Mital who is on the depth chart for this game. You might remember his MVP performance in the Vanier Cup and while it's tough to expect a rookie to have a big game, the Argos know the potential Mital has.

The defence is going to be crucial for Toronto in this game especially early on.

I also wanted to give you my thoughts on my Grey Cup experience this week. This is the first time I've been on the road out of Ontario to watch/cover a CFL game. I'm fortunate to be in this position and don't take it for granted.

Vancouver has done a great job as a host for this year's Grey Cup. Weather aside, the set up along the waterfront downtown has been great and you always want the next host city to have a great example to follow.

Hopefully you all enjoy the game and continue to follow the work we're doing at Sportsnet which will be heavy Grey Cup so make sure you check that out.
